In this loving tribute, the animator reflects on her bond with her beloved grandmother—whimsically portrayed as a giant snail—while confronting the inevitability of losing your loved ones.

Endless Cookie

Seth Scriver & Peter Scriver | Canada | 2025 | 98 min. | English

Seattle Premiere

Through a series of vignettes—some tragic, some funny, all a little bizarre—this animated feature documentary explores the complex bond between two half brothers, one Indigenous, one white, spanning bustling 1980s Toronto to the present day isolated First Nations community of Shamattawa.

Endless Cookie is a hangout film percolated through the fantastical imagination of its creators, swirling through the casual interruptions of family life while evoking the nuanced struggles of Indigenous life, familial bonds, and trying to make an animated film. After a whirlwind tour from Sundance 2025 through Canada, Endless Cookie finally lands on the big screen in Seattle.

Featuring a pre-recorded introduction from the directors.
